Russia Moves Into Georgia

Georgia, our ally, is now facing Russia invading its borders to 'bring' justice to the ethno Russian population within Georgia's borders.  The sovereignty of a nation loses its value because within the borders of that nation resides an ethnic group belonging to another sovereign nation.  If this is the new international precedent for nations, then United States you better wake up.

At your southern border, your sovereignty has been invaded by the Mexican Military over the last few years reeking havoc along the border as well as now invading homes in Tucson holding an American Citizen hostage until local authorities arrived, not the first time, either.  How much longer before the incursions bring with them tanks or other tools of military action?  Mexico's another socialist oil rich country whose economy is fueled by drug cartels and oil.

Oil is the power behind any economy globally today.  Yet, the United States Congress both past and present has transferred the United States economic and military power not just to Middle Eastern Dictatorships, but to despots around the globe.  Do the liberals in congress (and some conservatives, too) realize that to transfer this wealth undermines our power and our economic stability within the global community?  This is either their well devised strategic plan to create a powerless populace in order to bring in a new government of socialist/totalitarianism or they are just plain stupid.

Russia's new found wealth from drilling, refining and production of fossil fuels has empowered its economy as well as its military.  China is on the same path, drilling our own oil off of our own Florida coast, with the help of the despot ruling Cuba.  Drilling for our own oil off of our coasts is bad, but drilling of our own oil off of our coasts by our enemies is good.  By Congress not acting on an up or down vote this is exactly what they are implying.  The inaction speaks volumes:  'We want a United States with a weak economy and a weak military so that our enemies can control our destiny'.

Tell me Pelosi and Reid, where do you stand exactly?
